Been coaching for over 28 years teaching children and adults to skate from the beginner levels to training elite skaters in the competitive stream . Canskate, Starskate and Competitive Stream –freeskate all levels, choreography, dance all levels, skills all levels, interpretive all levels, stroking/edge quality Have coached skaters to a Gold level in all disciplines. Was Program Director at the Markham Figure Skating, Ajax Figure Skating Club and Upper Canada Figure Skating clubs when I coached there. Starskate Coordinator at the Port Perry Figure Skating Club Was the Canskate Coordinator at Markham FSC, Ajax FSC and Orono FSC . Coached competitive skaters that competed at the provincial level 2015 Recipient of the Club and Recreation Coach Award of Excellence from Skate Canada-Central Ontario Coached and Director for Edges Learn to Skate Have a college diploma in the Social Service Field and have been providing programming for youth and their parents in the Durham Region for over 40 years. My philosophy as a coach is to try and teach individuals of all ages to enjoy the sport of skating while having fun and to teach them how to skate and be that best that they can be.
